Roller Blind Measurements
Measuring Up
Before measuring and ordering your blinds, you need to decide whether your blinds will fit into the window recess (Recess Fit), or will be mounted outside of the recess to cover the entire window frame (Outside Fit). Please measure in centimetres.
Recess Fit
1. Measure the width in at least 3 different positions inside the window recess from side to side in several places, as some walls and windows are not square. Measure at the top, around the middle and also near the bottom to see any difference. From your measurements choose the smallest to be the width of the window, as this is the only size possible to fit inside the window.
2. Measure the Drop (height) in at least 3 different positions inside the the recess from the top of the recess down to the window sill. The material will be approximately 21mm from the side of the recess, on each side. Once again, the most important measurement to note as the Drop is the smallest one.

Outside Window Fit
1. Measure the width of your window then add at least 12cm to allow for the overlap. Alternatively tell us the size you want. We will make the blind to your measurements.
2. Measure the drop (height) of your window and add at least 12cm to allow for overlap.
3. On Roller Blinds the exact width entered will be from bracket to bracket in between the brackets you would have your controls, this means that your fabric will be 2cm to 3cm less.
